Medical Center consists of 44 licensed beds, with a 24-hour
emergency trauma center, with 4 operating suites. Payson Medical Center
is fully accredited by the Joint Commission Accreditation Of Healthcare
Organizations and is licensed by the State Of Arizona, Department of
Health Services.
The medical staff treats and diagnoses a wide variety of adult and
pediatric illnesses and injuries.
Within the Rim Country Medical Community, there are specialists and
professionals in most fields including: Anesthesia, Cardiology,
Dentistry, Dermatology, Family Practice, General Practice, General
Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Internal medicine,
Ophthalmology, Orthopedic Surgery, Otolaryngology, Pathology,
Pediatrics, Plastic Sugary, Podiatry, Psychology, Pulmonology, Radiation

Emergency Services
Emergency services are considered to be the finest in the region. They
have experienced support staff and knowledgeable caring physicians. Our
emergency rooms do not experience the overcrowding and long wait times
as you see in big metropolises.
Trauma services are 24/7 365 days of the year. Payson Regional boasts
of a 10 bed Emergency department and can handle most types of serious
illness’s, accidents and family emergencies. I have first hand
experience with my 5-year-old son who recently broke his leg on a
trampoline. We had no wait time and superb friendly service by all the
staff. The emergency service also consists of air vac/ ambulance service
available anytime, which provides us with peace of mind.
