Pricing Your Home Right
Pricing your home right to begin with is of the utmost importance in
selling your home. When your home is first put on the market, there is a
finite group of buyers out there who are looking for a home similar to
yours and comparatively priced. If your home starts out higher then your
competition, that group of buyers will buy up the other homes first.
When you decide to lower the price say 5 months later, that group of
buyers are gone having purchased the better bargains. Your home can then
become stale on the market.
At Lyons Marketing Group we owe it to you to be objective as to the
value of your home. We won’t tell you your house should be priced at a
certain point to “get the listing” when the truth of the matter is it
needs to be priced lower. At the same time, we won’t advise you to under
price your home so that you leave money on the table. Ultimately the
price to sell your house for is your decision. We are there to advise
you and give you an objective look at your home.
